Purpose Based Todo App Built with Meteor

Meteor To Do App Screenshot The Todo App is the customary app to see how everything works in an MVC framework behind the scenes.  Meteor makes application development a breeze and a whole lot of fun without any worry about Dev Ops.  I hosted my app on the Galaxy servers.  You may not be able to add to it because I haven't added write permissions to Mongo being that this is a test application.  I wanted to test the deploy process with Meteor and might I say it was the simplest build/deploy I've ever done.

As a cost saving solution, considering that this was just for demo purposes, I've removed High Availability on this Standard Container, so you may or may not be able to see it.    Atmospherejs allows you to grab a few packages and I used the following for the UI: twbsLbootstrap, accounts-ui, accounts-password and of course ian:accounts-ui-bootstrap-3.  Click to view the app on Galaxy.

I made this application because I believe that it would be worthwhile to have a "To Do" list with a purpose.  I wanted an app that would visually show me my To Dos and the reason I am doing what I'm doing.  It was quite an easy feature add.  The Meteor publish/subscribe process also makes it quite easy to display the contents of my MongoDb collection.
